The Radio room

Radio Room opened in 2017 and has spent every year since refusing to pick a lane: folk one night, hardcore the next, a drag brunch the morning after that. Black Flag played here. So did The Melvins. So did some guy with an acoustic guitar. Five hundred people, no pretense, a kitchen that's better than it has any right to be. This is what a scene actually sounds like when nobody's trying to make it look good for Instagram. Do yourself a favor and experience Comal 864 before the show. Amazing food from a James Beard-nominated chef, and a bar that matches that energy. Right across the street from the venue, easily walkable.
