Smiley’s on the roxx

Smiley's on the Rox is a merger, not a startup. Smiley's Acoustic Cafe closed after 17 years on Augusta Street, and On the Roxx, a West End bar that had drifted from live music into DJ nights over its own long run, decided the answer was to combine forces instead of watching another Greenville venue disappear. What's left is live music practically every night, no cover most of the time, and a Monday open jam where anyone with an instrument and nerve can get on stage. Weekends kick off early, sometimes three or four acts rotating through starting around 3pm, so you can genuinely camp out here all day and just let the lineup carry you.
