CCNB Heritage AmpitheaTer

Heritage Amphitheater has been Simpsonville's answer to "under the stars" since 2005, city-owned, currently carrying a bank's name on the marquee (CCNB bought the naming rights, but sponsorship is all they're getting), and genuinely stacked with the kind of names that don't usually stop in a town this size. Paul Simon played a farewell tour date here. So did Willie Nelson, Mumford & Sons, the Doobie Brothers, Wu-Tang Clan. It's grass-lawn general admission or tiered stadium seating, depending on how close you want to be, and every beer you buy actually kicks a cut back to the city. Big, loud, outdoors, and somehow still feels like a hometown show even with fifteen thousand people around you.

Downtown Simpsonville is worth it to hang out before: Shortfields, Warehouse at Vaughn's, all good. The parking lot can get very muddy depending on whether there is a separate Uber drop zone.
